I was leaning toward the Kindle, but now the Nook sounds best due to the versatility of reading all formats. But you're right. There's nothing like the smell (or the feel) of your own book in hand. I have many signed books from fellow authors, which I treasure as well. Books in print will never become obsolete, but the e-reader is a cool invention.M.Flagghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10103836537099873046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2295513765923392477.post-50518530922492148952010-05-07T13:36:25.090-07:002010-05-07T13:36:25.090-07:00That was fun! It took me until about 3 weeks ago to decide. I knew I didn't want the Kindle, because it doesn't support many formats (and I have a big library of digital books on my computer). It came down to the Sony Pocket Edition and the Nook. I ended up with the Nook, and so far I love it. I will always love a "real" book, but my library shelves are already overflowing, so... Nook books take up way less space.Rebecca J. I would love to have an ereader (hint for Mother's Day, kiddos!) because when I'm on the computer, I am driven to work rather than read for recreation. I have many great ebooks I have yet to read for this reason, unfortunately. I agree ereaders are an important way to latch onto younger readers too.Cate Mastershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01371792447604980848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2295513765923392477.post-73575790040360588842010-05-07T10:22:39.235-07:002010-05-07T10:22:39.235-07:00I read books about 99% of the time. The only thing it doesn't have is a back light, which I understand 'sucks' battery life, so I'd rather not have to worry about running out of a charge and use a book light like I've always done.Catherine Bybeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05804889684095619535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2295513765923392477.post-34340077645391891802010-05-07T08:15:36.439-07:002010-05-07T08:15:36.439-07:00Thanks again for having me, Rebecca. Thanks again for having me, Rebecca.Catherine Bybeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05804889684095619535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2295513765923392477.post-58974853053731377692010-05-07T08:15:36.108-07:002010-05-07T08:15:36.108-07:00Hi Catherine!
